Power of Kindness Root Certificate

Power of Kindness z. s. operates its own certification infrastructure for verifying electronic signatures of documents, applications, installation packages and other electronic outputs issued by the organisation.

This is not a publicly trusted certification authority certificate. For a device to verify signatures issued within the Power of Kindness certification hierarchy, the root certificate must be deliberately installed among trusted root certification authorities.

The root certificate needs to be installed only once. Subordinate certificates and certificate revocation lists are available through the Power of Kindness technical infrastructure.

Installation on Windows

1. Download the file power-of-kindness-root-ca.cer.
2. Open the downloaded certificate.
3. Choose Install Certificate.
4. Select Local Machine.
5. Choose Place all certificates in the following store.
6. Select Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
7. Complete the installation and confirm the Windows security warning.

Before installation, we recommend comparing the certificate's SHA-256 fingerprint with the value listed on this page.

By installing the root certificate, you express trust in the Power of Kindness certification infrastructure and in certificates issued within it. Install the certificate only if you obtained it from the official website powerofkindness.cz.
